http://localhost points to the htdocs folder inside the xampp folder (/Applications/xampp/htdocs maybe).

So if I undersand you correctly

If I wanted to navigate to a folder called "dogsballs" for example with a file named "germanshepard"

I would type in "localhost/dogsballs/germanshepard.php

and that should take me to that file. Would you agree.

That should work. You might have to use http://localhost/.... but I doubt it. What error do you get?

Wow Caltuna that was quick,

Do you never sleep or something or are you on the other side of the globe?

Yes I agree it would be http://localhost/dogsballs/germanshepard.php

You are quite right. Now all I have to do is go away and practice more eh?
