MySql: Thread stack overrun

Postby bernd01 » 27. June 2009 14:54

Hi,

If I insert a row with an trigger or use a function I get following error msg in MySql:
Thread stack overrun: 6056 bytes used of a 131072 byte stack, and 128000 bytes needed.
Use 'mysqld -O thread_stack=#' to specify a bigger stack.

How to repeat the error:
you can find a copy of the database here:
http://files.getdropbox.com/u/962198/test.sql

insert a row into the table "insert_test" and you get the error

I am using: Xampp 1.01 on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.5.7

I already reported it as a bug to MySql however, they say they can't repeat the error.
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=45560

Does anyone have the same problem?

Thanks,
bernd

Use 'mysqld -O thread_stack=#' to specify a bigger stack.

Have you tried this?
(changing the "my.cnf")
