I can not login T_T

Problems with the Mac OS X version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I can not login T_T

Dear All,

I'm a beginner to learn the php, I had a problem to log in as a roots, hope someone can help me, thanks~

After I install the XAMPP and go to the termial, I type the "sudo su" to log in, then it appear:

WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.

To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

Password:

I follow the installation instruction, type in the password "tar xfvz xampp-macosx-0.7.3.tar.gz -C /

But it doen't work, it appear:
Password:
Sorry, try again.


I try so many times, but still doesn't work, what can I do? Please advice....

password does not work

I am having the same problem on the terminal.

Entering "sudo su" but password does not seem to be correct.

Any suggestions?

You have to enter your password that you use for your MAC.

If you don't know it, go to "HELP" and enter Account Settings. You can change your MAC password.
