Im Using OS Commerce, Is it necessary to Credit OS Commerce

Hi!!

I have installed an OS Commerce system for my Client, Is it necessary to use :: Powered By OS Commerce :: at the bottom of the page, because i have seen some websites that don't show it instead they just write Copyright Company Name.

Because if i use OS Commerce at the bottom my client may freak out.

Please let me know.

You should ask this question the author of OS Commerce (or in a OS Commerce forum).

Maybe you can also find the anwser in the OS Commerce licence/manual.

Often times these companies just require the copyright to be included at the top of the code page in comment blocks.

As Wiedman suggested, go to the source and see what they require. If you have to have it on the page, keep it small; and, tell the client up front it's mashed, all is good. If he insists on removing it explain to him the time and costs involved with writing code from scratch.

Hopefully it will all work out just fine.
