How to set up webalizer on xampp 0.7.2 for Mac

Postby MacPaq » 24. June 2008 23:52

Hi,

I am not sure how I can set up Webalizer on xampp. On the Xampp page, once I clicked on the Webalizer link, it goes to a page shows the Index of /webalizer and a parent directory link, but once I click on the link, it loops back to the xampp front page. I thought Xampp comes with Webalizer. Is there some thing I need to configure to get it to work?

what download did u do? U use the installer or the Tar file? I think the installer 1 has the files in Webalizer. (use 2 atleast)

I used the xampp 0.7.2 dmg for its more Mac like installation. Is webalizer missing in this?

I went to the webalizer.php file, there is this line: system("/opt/lampp/bin/webalizer;sleep 2"); but there isn't such a directory on my Mac. (it appears more a linux lampp directory.) Is this a mistake?

OK, I got it;

Once I changed this line in webalizer.php from

system("/opt/lampp/bin/webalizer;sleep 2");

to

system("/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/bin/webalizer;sleep 2");

Then It works. :)
