Thank you that's very kind of you to offer, since you are providing the help to me maybe you should suggest some times when you could be available? Meanwhile have a think about this... After de-installing Xampp I was still geting the same apache screen when I tried to go to localhost. This was after the reboot and before installing Xampp again.

I can be available at verying time this afternoon but please make your suggestions about what suits you.

Cheers,

AndyC

OK, I've got to meet with a client this morning - but I should be freed up by 3pm eastern time- so how about 3pm eastern or 7pm eastern today unless you prefer another day when you will have time.

OK I'm located in Spain which is 6 hours ahead of you, so 7.00pm would be good although 6.00pm would be better. If you can't make 6.00pm I will be lonline at 7.00pm. Thanks again.

6pm eastern? That can work.

Oh, and to explain the Apache page you mentioned in your last post -

With Personal Web Sharing on in your preferences - that is what you should get, The Apache page. Uncheck Personal Web Sharing and you should get an error page saying something to the affect of cannot find server or page or something.

You see that button at the bottom of my post "pm", that is the one you click and it will take you to something like a mail box - you write and send messages to me through there. Yes, you do have to log in. Meet you at 6.
