Can somebody plese help me, I moved from pc to mac. I have xampp running, and I have secured everything with the whole sudo ./mampp security thing. (This I got from the xampp install site)

I have now moved Joomla to the htdocs folder, but when I enter localhost/xampp/joomla into my browser I get this issue:

"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /xampp/joomla on this server."

Please help me get this running, I am so frustrated since it was not nearly such a big issue on windows, and I feel helpless since I am not a coder or anything, that is why I choose xampp, it's easy tu use and install until now.

Well thanks for your inputs.

Here is my solution for those interested. I had too edit my httpd.conf file and add my name as user, on the admin group. Worked like a charm.
