Issues on MacBook Leopard

Postby iNTaYkE » 29. November 2007 10:14

When I try to go to phpmyadmin:
phpMyAdmin - Error

Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly.

Also, when I try to stop Apache:

Stopping XAMPP for MacOS X 0.7.0...
XAMPP: Stopping Apache with SSL...
/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/bin/apachectl: line 70: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Invalid argument

Help? :)

that's a general situation, not an error. don't worry about it.

this is not at all normal. You need to give php writing rights to session.save_path
or - if it is not defined in php.ini - to /tmp
