PHP 4 extensions

Postby code_g » 12. December 2006 00:20

Hi,

I was "almost" successful in getting XAMPP for Mac to work... My PHP application requires the following PHP extensions:

* gd2
* gettext
* mbstring
* mime_magic

I've been searching the site and the installed files but I can't find out how to install them...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi code_g,

PHP4 alreadly includes GD, gettext and mime_magic if I remember right.
If someone files a request for mbstring we might add it in the next release.

The above components do not requre to be activated, as they are part of PHP
and already compiled into PHP.

I tried looking for a place to enter that feature request, but can't find it. I might be a bit dense but it isn't obvious to me. Could someone point me in the right direction?
