Installing XAMPP

Hi,

I installes XAMPP on my MAC, I am new to using all this stuff so need some help. Now what do I do? I can see all the files in the Applications folder... which one do I open? I dragged some of the .php files into Safari and all I saw was the code? Is something wrong?

First off shutdown the default Apache running from System Preferences and then point your browser to http://localhost/xampp. If everything is installed okay you'll see the XAMPP homepage.
