Hi,

I was wondering. I am having probelm with adding an auto-increment to my mysql table I keep getting this error and I am not finding out what is causing it.
#1063 - Incorrect column specifier for column 'PartNumber'
I have created a field call PartNumber the type I'm have set is data length is 4. I also have it set to not null. I have also set this to be the prime key. Have I done something wrong with the set up.

thanks for the help,

That's the column length. And what's the column type?

BTW:
adding an auto-increment to my mysql table

A column with the attribute AUTO_INCREMENT must be one of the integer types.
