Unable to intall xammpp 8.1.4 on mac

hi everyone i am having problem installing xampp 8.1.4 on my mac OS Catalina version 10.15.7. it gives an error "Mac is unable scan xampp" can anyone guide please

Hello, I seem to have a similar problem.

When I try to install I get the notification: xampp-osx-8.1.5-0-vm' cannot be opened because Apple cannot check the file for evil software (free translation from Dutch).
It furthermore says 'the software needs to be updated/upgraded', and to 'please contact the developer'.

Can someone have a look and make the necessary adjustments?

Yeah I tried running it via console (dropping the $ prefix, using these steps: https://www.javatpoint.com/how-to-install-xampp-on-mac) but doesn't work. Definitely an Apple issue

open the app from the finder i.e the download directory and double click/control + click ,when the installer opens double click or click/control to open and this prompts a dialog popup now with an open button,click on it and your macos would ask for your password and the installation would begin automatically

thanks it worked ctrl+klick and the will be pop up and choose open .
