HTTP ERROR 500

Postby masilli » 16. March 2023 20:50

Hi,

Sorry if this is double post, but I can't find a solution for this issue.

All of the sudden new php pages stopped showing on my browser.
I have a folder with several php pages, some are showing (eg. index.php) but other files created after that one result in a "HTTP ERROR 500".

Any ideas what is causing this, and how I can fix it?

All the best,
Filipe

Hi,

take a look into your Apache error.log file.
You should find additional information about this error there.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I don't know what I am looking for, but after I call the file that originates the error 500 it logs "-" 408 -

::1 - - [16/Mar/2023:20:08:28 +0000] "GET /codemaster/aula_106/ex_106_02/index.php HTTP/1.1" 200 558
::1 - - [16/Mar/2023:20:08:31 +0000] "GET /codemaster/aula_106/ex_106_02/meio.php?quantidade=12212 HTTP/1.1" 500 -
::1 - - [16/Mar/2023:20:08:46 +0000] "-" 408 -

The file "index.php" is showing correctly on my browser, but then I submit the form to file "meio.php" and get the error.
I've tried with other .php files and all of them return the "HTTP ERROR 500". Even if the file is empty or has a simple <h1> on it. If it's a php it doesn't work.
