problem nach installation von xampp

hallo zusammen,

klasse board - die threads hier haben mir bisher gut geholfen. nun habe ich aber ein problem worauf ich hier noch keine behandelte lösung fand:

nach installation des xampp 0.6.1 auf meinem mac os x (ppc) erhalte ich bei aufruf von xampp/mysql... folgende fehlermeldung:

/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/bin/mysql.server: line 1: /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/bin/my_print_defaults: cannot execute binary file
/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/bin/mysql.server: line 1: /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/bin/my_print_defaults: cannot execute binary file



trotz mehrfacher neuinstallation als root via terminal...gehts net

hallo,

leider gibt es z.Z. xampp nur für die intel-macs. Für die ppc-macs brauchst du die version 0.5 (oder früher).

habe ebenfalls mehrfach versucht, zunächst xampp 0.6 und dann - da kein intel - xampp 0.5 zu installieren. Leider habe ich bisher keinerlei Praxis. xampp 0.5 sollte also jetzt heruntergeladen und installiert sein. Wie geht's jetzt weiter?

ich habe auch die 0.5er auf meinem PPC Mac. habe den intaller genommen weil ich nicht wusste, wie der Befehl zum entpacken via Terminal war. Nachdem ich versucht habe, den Server als root zu starten bekomme ich folgende Ausgabe:

Was habe ich falsch gemacht? oder besser, wie lautet der Befehl um die 0.5 Version als tar.bz2 im Terminal zu entpacken?
