xampp unter PowerBook G4

Hallo,
Ich habe ein PowerBook G4, und habe xampp installiert allerdings läuft nicht und gibt folgende Fehler Meldung beim starten:

villeicht hat jemand mal installiert und PowerBook G4 und mir emfehlen.

die version 0.6.x sind nur für Intel Macs und ein PowerBook ist ein PPC mac.

Die einzige möglichkeit ist die version 0.5. zu nehmen.

ich finde leider den Befehl nicht mehr, mit dem das Archiv über das Terminal entpacken muss. Kann mir einer bei der Installation helfen???

hallo,

für die 0.5er brauchst du den Stufit Expander. Damit entpackst du das sixt (oder so) Archiv. Dann kommt nen Installer paket zum vorschein. Doppelklick drauf und es wird installiert.

Hab das jetzt mal kurz auf dem gedächniss aufgeschrieben, ich hoffe es hilft dir

jo, wenn ich das andere paket herunterlade klappt dein beschriebener weg. hatte erst das tar.bz2 paket oder so runtergeladen. gibt es da irgendeinen unterschied ausser das bei einem ein installer bei ist und bei dem anderen nicht?

Hallo,

Entpackt mit stuffit habe ich das soweit. Nach der Installation beim Versuch den Server zu starten muss ich jedoch feststellen, dass der Apache und der ProFTDP nicht starten wollen.

Was muss ich da jetzt genau machen?? Auf meinem Intel Book, welches gerade in der Reparatur ist, konnte ich das tar.bz2 Archiv entpacken und sofort mittels mampp start die kiste anschmeißen...

hallo,

du must noch deinen hostnamen in die /etc/hosts eintragen.
Dazu einfach den Terminal öffnen (in Programme/Dienstprogramme oder so.)
dann gibst du einmal

sudo -s

ein. Der fragt dich dann nach deinem PW.
Danach dann

echo "127.0.0.1 `hostname`" >> /etc/hosts

Dann solltest du XAMPP starten können.
