MySQL startet nicht über Terminal

Hallo Ihr Freaks

Ich habe schon viele Seiten durchkämmt und bin bis jetzt nicht schlauer geworden. Folgendes Problem:
Über das Terminal will ich mampp starten mit /Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp start ; dann bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung:
/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp: line 1: cat: command not found
/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp: line 1: cat: command not found
/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp: line 28: rm: command not found
/Applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp: line 1: cat: command not found
Über dieses Forum habe ich gelesen, dass ich im *err File Nachlesen kann was der Fehler sein könnte. In diesem steht folgendes:
InnoDB: Operating system error number 13 in a file operation. Dies habe ich gelesen ist ein Fehler über die fehlende Zugriffsberechtigung. Dies kann jedoch nicht sein, da ich mich über das Terminal via root anmelde mit sudo su und so mampp starten möchte. Auch im Ordner habe ich schon versucht die Rechte mir zu übergeben was auch geht und auch über das System selbst. Beides hat nicht geklappt die o.e. Fehlermeldung kommt auch so. Wie kann ich MySQL aktivieren?

Ach ja, falls dies noch von Nutzen ist:

Das Installationspaket ist folgendes: XAMPP MacOS X (tar) 0.6a
Ich benutze einen MacOS X 10.4 (Intel)

I tried severall timeS to install Xampp without success.
Using step by step the procedure declared in http://www.apachefriends.org/fr/xampp-macosx.html the following answer comes in Terminal:

I understand the necessity to quit any other Apache or Apache 2 programs, but same result after desactivation in System Preferences of :
- Personel Web sharing
- Apache2
- WebserverKit
is some other apache anywhere ???
Trying to strart through "XAMPP Control Panel" found in file xampp no result

HELP please !!!! Or ask if any other solution to run Joomla in local ?

Ist auf deinem System das BSD-Subsystem auch richtig installiert? Programme wie cat oder rm sind OS-Basics. Was gibt echo $PATH aus?

Das BSD-Subsystem wird soweit ich weiss automatisch bei der Version 10.4.x installiert. Ja ich habs auch gefunden unter /Receipts/.

Bei echo $PATH gibt es mir folgendes aus :
/usr/local/mysql/bin:/usr/local/mysql/bin:/usr/local/mysql/bin:/usr/local/mysql/bin_/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin

Hallo Benjamin,

hab gerade kein mac da aber rm und cat müssten in /bin liegen und das fehlr bei dir in der $PATH variable. Da ist irgendwo was verbogen aber wo genau ka.

kurzfristig sollte helfen

in der Console einzugeben.
Dannach mal einen start probieren. Müsstest mal nachlesen wo man das beim mac dauerhaft ändern kann

Hallo Benjamin,

ja, bei Dir fehlt tatsächlich der Eintrag /bin.

Dauerhaft sind die Systemweiten Pfadangaben in folgender Datei hinterlegt /etc/profile Diese gilt für alle Benutzer und darf nur vom root geändert werden.

Auf meinem Intel-MacMini sieht die Datei wie folgt aus:

---Dateianfang---
# System-wide .profile for sh(1)

PATH="/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin"
export PATH

if [ "${BASH-no}" != "no" ]; then
[ -r /etc/bashrc ] && .etc/bashrc
---Dateiende---

für Dich ist die 3. Zeile die interessante (PATH=...) hier solltest Du noch /bin einfügen und einen Doppelpunkt als Separator nutzen.

Anschliessend speichern und das wars.

Falls Du noch Fragen hierzu hast, versuche ich gern weiterzuhelfen.

PS: Kannst Du den PATH-Eintrag in Deiner /etc/profile einfach mal posten? Dann können wir den evtl. bereinigen...
