Guidance For Using XAMPP macOS

Dear Support,

I'm new and have downloaded the XAMPP for my MacOS.

Right now, I would like to upload the SRC file but not sure which folder I should select? Docs folder? PHP folder? Please advise.

Also, once I've uploaded the SRC file, how to run it? Using localhost?

My apologies as I'm not an expert but willing to learn.
