I am using Windows 7 OS. I have heard a lot about this software to transfer files from FileZilla client to FileZilla server. Obviously, it has a great role while SEO (for on page optimization in most). However, I am new to this. How can I make use of the software well?

I would like to know the advanced usage of FileZilla. I have a version of the software (do not know exact version. I have copied from my friend's directory).

Please let me know how to use this software.

Thanks in advance.

FileZilla is a FTP Server and a FTP client. There is not much to tell about.

Once you have the FileZilla client downloaded and activated on your computer, enter the domain name in the address field (you can also use the server's IP address). The username and the password you need to type in are the same as the ones you use to log in to your cPanel. The FTP port is 21 and is filled in automatically. Click Quickconnect and the file listing will appear. Find the www (it is a symbolic link to public_html) directory and double click on it. Then, select the files to be uploaded and drag-and-drop them under the www folder. Wait for the transfer to be completed.
