idea on how to use Filezilla

Postby merkutinaa » 13. March 2014 10:54

I am trying to copy all the files I have at inmotionhosting to godaddy. I downloaded Filezilla to do this, but I have no idea on how to use Filezilla. Can someone tell me how to transfer the files from one hosting provider to another using Filezilla? Thanks.

Sounds like you are missing the difference between an FTP server and FTP client.

Use your FTP-accounts:
Copy your files from inmotionhosting, paste it local on your pc.
Copy your files from your local pc, and paste them at your godaddy ftp-account.

Don't forget to copy paste your mysql database with phpmyadmin..if you have one
