IBM and Dell announce shipping Solaris

IBM and now DELL have announced support and distribution for Solaris. The ability to use Zones (Containers), ZFS etc... Makes a great platform for setting up dedicated web servers...

Too bad there is no XAMPP support for Solaris.

You can run RedHat or CentOS under a x86 Solaris container so its possible to that XAMPP might run under that... but it would be nice if there was native Solaris support.
