MD5 still failing on all the mirrors

Postby nsw » 29. October 2007 17:47

I am also having the problem with md5 failing. I have tried all the mirrors. Is there a .zip or .gz file I can download from somewhere else?

How are you downloading it?

When I download it from Solaris itself:

Code: Select all
wget http://www.apachefriends.org/download.php?xampp-solaris-0.8.2.sh
...
Resolving superb-east.dl.sourceforge.net... 209.160.66.130

Where do you want to install XAMPP? (press Ctrl+C to abort installation)
[/opt/xampp] /tmp/xampp99
Checking integrity of XAMPP files... (this may take a moment)
MD5 checksum successful: XAMPP files are perfect.
Installing XAMPP files... (this make take a while)

There is no problem. The download file is fine.

Don't use Windows to download the file.

no wget, no windows

Postby sbrisendine » 15. November 2007 02:09

Hi, I'm using Firefox through the SUn java desktop. I apparently do not have 'wget' in my system, which is Solaris 10. Any ideas on getting the MD5 to check out?

wget doesn't checksum either

wget doesn't checksum either,

I didn't thing there should be any difference, since FF isn't using anything that wget isn't. The file is just corrupt.
