Problems with the Solaris version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Are there any plans to move towards a 1.0 version of XAMPP for Solaris. It would be great to catch the solaris release up with the linux version.

I to would like to see a version with current versions. Specifically I am looking for Apache and Perl 5.8.7.
Could the source code used to create the Linux version be brought into a solaris 9 system and compiled?

While not a "stable" release... its as stable so far as the previous Sparc 0.8 beta release which has been very stable for me.
I'm just now playing with the X86 version but I've not seen any issues yet.
the two Solaris version include a lot more than the previous 0.8 beta versions:

I suspect there is more in the X86 version as the release notes didn't include what version of Perl ( it is 5.8.8 ). Specifically I am looking for OpenLDAP like the Sparc version has.
