Mail-Server Empfehlung!

Ich habe 1 solcher in Produktion (der 2. in ein paar Tagen) - mit Spam Asassin, Webmail etc.
Keine Probleme und einiges einfacher als alle anderen Mail Server.
Systemanforderungen: LAMP (oder WAMP) (PHP 4.3+ oder 5.x).
Der einzige Wehmutstropfen: er kann kein IMAP.
Module und Zusatzprogramme die ich verwende:
- Spam Asassin
- xpai - Server Administration
- umpl -Server Administration, Domain Verwaltung, Webmail.
- Uebi Miau - Webmail (hier können IMPA ähnlich Ordner angelegt/verwaltet werden - braucht MySql)

Hmmm darf ich da mal fragen, wo ich lese das hier jemand xmail mit xpai am rennen hat...

Habe Suse9.1
Apache2 und Xmail sind installiert
nun habe ich mir zum konfigurieren von xmail Xpai installiert aber es will noch nicht so recht.
Ich komme zwar auf die login Seite von xpai nd kann meinen User eingeben.
PW = Falsch > Fehlermeldung
PW = Richtig > Tut sich ewige Zeiten nichts und irgentwann "Internet Explorer konnte keine Verbindung zu der angeforderten Webseite herstellen. Möglicherweise ist sie vorübergehend nicht verfügbar."

Ne Idee wenn ich mal dreißt fragen darf

Wenn ich probleme mit dem hatte war es:
entweder:

Passwort nicht richtig -> (passwort muss encrypted, mit dem Tool eingetragen werden)
oder:
Irgenwie ein Port geschlossen: xpai braucht 6017
aber welche Protokolle ist mir auch nicht klar. (TCP auf jeden Fall)

Kill mal den Firewall und check dann so.

-PW ist verschlüsselt abgelegt (bei Xpai im klartext)
-iptabels ist die policy auf accept gesetzt und nichts definiert.
