i am using wp job manager plugin and i am trying to list on the frontpage only the twelve job categories according to the jobs they having. The job categories having more jobs go first. I managed to list the job categories with the above code but the problem is that the sorting and the number of categories not working as i expected. Any suggestions?

WP Job Manager Category Drop-down; Change Placeholder Text Via Filter

I have been googling for hours with no really helpful outcome, I have a site that uses WP Job Manager. One of the search fields that comes with this plugin is a category drop-down list.
I would like to change the placeholder of this text from "Choose a category..." to "Choose your sectors..."

The code below is taken from the WP Job Manager Plugin for reference with the above link.


Based on the testing that I did, the placeholder string Choose a category… cannot be filtered with the submit_job_form_fields filter, but there are still ways to change that string.
One way to alter the text is to override the plugin's default job-filters.php template with your own.
Copy the default template, /wp-job-manager/templates/job-filters.php over to your theme: /your-theme/job_manager/job-filters.php
Edit your theme's copy of job-filters.php by adding the placeholder argument to both calls to job_manager_dropdown_categories():

Add Adsense code between job listings - wp job manager plugin

I am using the wp-job-manager plugin and i want to add an Adsense code between the job listings ( after fifth job listing ) in the page with [jobs] shortcode.
The function that outputs the jobs resides in class-wp-job-manager-shortcodes.php function output_jobs( $atts )
Because i don't know how to start to add that Adsense code to this function using action hooks or what else i need some help to make it work.
