how to root your Android phone - some ideas tipps and more

if you ever wantet to root your phone you can use magisk.

we will have a closer look at the process - focusing a Poco F3 Phone:

first of all: Create a Xiaomi-Account: You need to log into a Xiaomi account - (just create one) for a week (right before) you want to unlook your Bootloader.

With your account at Xiaomi - you can go ahead and unlock your bootloader of your phone

Then unlock your bootloader of your phone.
Unlocking the phone is a process which should factory reset the phone (in other words this means that you i.e delete all the data). The next task is to install TWRP ( see here the link: How to install TWRP recovery on Android smartphones : https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-twrp/ The so called TeamWin Recovery Project, is a worldwide known project (many insiders use just the so called TWRP abbreviation) It is a very popular custom recovery solution for any Android devices.

The TWRP-Tool is a tool that is known as a so called custom recovery-tool: Well - with the TWRP recovery tool you can do alot on Android smartphones:

TWRP just does lots of good things: it entirely replaces the default recovery environment of your phone. that came with your smartphone.
That said - you can root your device via the so called Magisk-Kit:

After you did that you can do even more: for example:

- flash custom ROMs and kernels, and besides this you also can create full backups, and so on.
- if you have data on your phone then a backup is just great.

With the TWRP-Tool you can do a lot of things: It is one of the major requirements that is suggested!!
- it allows you to flash ROMs onto your phone,
- root your phone by flashing magisk and full backup and restore your data; Imagine!
- but there is more: you can flash kernels, create allmost anything you can imagine

In short: with Flashing ROMs is a method that many many Android-Phone-users use to get more controll over the phone: It is like having the controll over a Linux machine.

There are ( more or less ) two types to flash a phone:

a. those based off stock android (AOSP) with modifications and
b. those with slight improvements to MIUI. For a newbie I would recommend LineageOS
c. the rest

let us take a closer look at a certain phone - the Xiaomi-PocoF3 phone: Two popular version of unofficial TWRP exist:

If we take the PocoF3 then we can choose between (the so called Vasishath and the so called Nebrassy), use depending on ROM.

CrDroid = this is a very very customizable and lots of features, based on the so called Lineage

ONE Os = this has also lots of features: it is based on MIUI with added features

LineageOS = a damned customizable and lots of features, need root to pass safetynet

MIUI.EU = this is a widely used debloated stock MIUI-rom that comes with all the features of MIUI China

ArrowOS = slimmest and cleanest rom, less features mean less problem. It can be called the pure-safety-type

It is recommended not to root at the first day - when you receive your device: I suggest to wait: When you receive phone, i would say - use it for one week to make sure it is not in any way faulty and get to know what features you like Unlocking phone need to wait one week, take this time to decide the ROM you want (choose from above).
