Web Port 80 and 8080 Access

Postby cpspros » 12. January 2005 13:57

I have a Linux server with Xampp 1.4.11 loaded on it. I have a domain, domain.com, that is pointing to my server. From inside my network (the one with the server on it), it server accepts connections on 110,21,8100,8010,10000,25,80,8080. But from outside the network, it doesn't accept connections on ports 80 and 8080.
All the necessary ports are forwarded to my server from the router.

Can anyone help?

My router has a built in firewall, but the necessary ports are being forwarded to my server.

Are you sure your internet provider does not 'block' these ports from 'outside' ? (happens frequently on 'home'-connections)

I should have posted this a bit earliar, but I have found the problem and it is exactly as stoffell said. My ISP blocks many ports necessary for web services. Thanks for your advice.
