login incorrect-no access ftpserver

The webserver works great now but:

I have no access to my ftp server :-(
through localhost, 192.168.x.x, and with the interadress I'm getting:
login incorrect.
[root@debian platero]# ftp 192.168.1.100
Connected to 192.168.1.100.
220 ProFTPD 1.2.10 Server (ProFTPD) [192.168.1.100]
500 AUTH not understood
500 AUTH not understood
KERBEROS_V4 rejected as an authentication t

I think I know what I did, I changed the ownership of the dirs that belonged to 'nobody' The problem is that I don't know which ones they were...
Which directories must I give back to nobody to be able to log on?

I also tried changing the owner in /opt/lampp/ect/proftpd.conf but it didn't solve the problem
Please help, how can I get access to my ftpserver?
