Sodium extension not loaded

I'm using Xampp 8.1.4 on a linux Mint 20.1 machine.
Everything is well, except that I need the sodium library to be loaded, and it's not.
Phpinfo() shows credits, but sodium extension is not loaded.
An idea ?
