Multiple PHP Versions

Postby Frank1100 » 16. January 2020 09:01

Hi,
I need to run different php versions on different ports, just like offered by ISP-hosting, where each domain can select their own php version.
I need to use same functionality on my local.

How is this done ?

Regards,
Frank

Which ISP offers different PHP releases listening on different Ports? I have never seen that anywhere, ISP usually do not use different Ports than the default Port 80 for http (and Port 443 for https).

I would create different VirtualHosts, define PHP as CGI in each VirtualHost and each with a different PHP version. Its not a must to use different Ports for the VirtualHosts, but you CAN use different Ports. Why do you want to tun on different Ports?

Thanks for reply. If it goes without different ports I'm fine with that. Just thought it must be different ports.
