Enable LAMP for SSL on Ubuntu

Hi all,

I am looking for a good tutorial that walks me through the steps to set up SSL on LAMP/Ubuntu.

I have been working through

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-create-a-self-signed-ssl-certificate-for-apache-in-ubuntu-18-04

but that kinda lost me when he was referring to

/etc/apache2/conf-available/

and I could not find that folder anywhere.

I have also been looking at

http://www.zunisoft.com/2008/10/10/kb-xampp-ssl-configuration-on-ubuntu/

but after completing that my Apache server won't start anymore and the logs only say

Starting Apache Web Server...
/opt/lampp/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started
Starting Apache Web Server...
/opt/lampp/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started

What I am wondering is when setting up the certificate at the beginning, I have to provide the server IP address. What do I enter there? The current IP of my PC in the network or just 127.0.0.1?

Thanks for any hint!
