Getting started guide WWW Folder?

Is there a Getting started guide some place?

Need step by step DETAILED instructions on where to find the XAMPP 7.3.1-0 interface thing used to start and stop the servers I rebooted the computer after installing then could not find the XAMPP 7.3.1-0 interface any place so uninstalled XAMPP and reinstalled so could restart the server now discovered I can not locate the WWW folder to install web files.

Detailed instructions = instructions someone with NO LINUX experience can follow.

I guessed I assumed XAMPP would be like and have features similar to the Uniform server http://www.uniformserver.com/ and would be as intuitive.
