MySQL database error

Hi all

Wondering if you could please take a look at this one for me?

I am unable to connect to my MySQL database.

I had it working fine the other day, however I can't connect and the error I get is as follows:

Some thoughts.

The DB it refers to on line 14, response_dev, is no longer the DB I am using.

However the last time I re-installed Xamp, the response_dev DB was present, with all tables, with no data. So I created a new DB and linked to it. However I think this is what is causing me issues.

Is there a way to purge the MySQL DB before I try another re-install?

Do you happen to know why my old table was in the DB without data? Is there a way to re-install and ensure old tables are blown away? I was unable to drop this table.
