New Xampp security concept

Hello: I'm quite familiar with the older xampp versions but I have decided to upgrade my new server with version 7.0.6. The dashboard opens ok as does phpinfo, however when I try to access phpmyadmin I get the New Xampp Security Page.

I have researched this and plenty of information how to resolve the problem, however when I check my /opt/lampp/etc/extra/httpd-xampp.conf file there is no reference to the line recommended to edit.
