Problems with the Linux version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.
by ntlzz » 11. November 2015 09:38
I tried run xampp with
- Code: Select all
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start
start but it didn't work
Starting XAMPP for Linux 5.6.14-0...
XAMPP: Starting Apache...already running.
XAMPP: Starting MySQL...ok.
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...already running.
How to fix it?

It worked. "Already running" means "already running". You cannot start it twice, but after a fresh install it is starting automatically.
You may stop it and start again, or also try "restart" instead of "start". But anyway, it has started.

root@Ntlzz:~# /opt/lampp/lampp status
Version: XAMPP for Linux 5.6.14-0
Apache is running.
MySQL is not running.
ProFTPD is running.

If you need help (i am unsure about that), you have to provide much more information.
