Hi
After installing xampp 1.8.2.6 in a new and clean Ubuntu 12.04 64bits, Firefox was unable to re-open with the last tabs. It always re-open on the default starting page. It worked fine before installing xampp.

Solution : You must completly erase Firefox history and its files !!!

Have the same problem, only that some important addons dont work too
I tried your solution, but it didnt worked out...
Could you you explain preciser what you meant with "and its files". Thanks
