Move XAMPP with symbolic link

Hi everybody, I'm new in the forum, and I'd like to greet everyone inside.
Now, let's start with the problem: I moved my lampp folder away from the /opt folder, because it's on a ssd , so I decided to put it on a traditional hd; then in the /opt folder I created a symbolic link that points to the folder on the hd, but when i try to access the phpMyAdmin panel this is the error I get:
#2002 no such file or directory
I haven't other installation of mysql , only xampp, and the php files are displayed normally, only mysql have problems.
