Running Moodle on a couple of VM's of Apache Friends on Fedora 14
1.7.4 and 1.7.7
the installations are OOBE, with an SSL certificate in place.
Running Moodle and during "finals" the servers are getting hammered. gets to a point where CPU pegs, or Memory pegs and nothing can be done.
do a /opt/lampp/lampp restart to recover but need to figure what i need to do to make sure the apache threads are efficiently working.
yes, I can throw resources (ie more CPU or Memory at it during peak use, but would prefer to make sure the LAMPP engine is optimized for our environment.
Any one have any suggested configuration tuning?
