This should be an easy fix. New user here. When I installed XAMPP I saw the main user control panel :

When I first did the install, and the main page came up the first thing I did was bookmarked it. But that was only good while I had the system up. Now after rebooting, the bookmark doesn't work and I get this:

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost.

Here is what Konsole tells me:

Code: Select all
[root@localhost ~]# /opt/lampp/xampp start
Starting XAMPP for Linux 1.8.3-1...
XAMPP: Starting Apache...ok.
XAMPP: Starting MySQL...ok.
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...Warning: World-writable config file '/opt/lampp/etc/my.cnf' is ignored
ok.
[root@localhost ~]#

So how do I get back to the main user console? I figured I just needed to do a search for index.html or index.php, but none of those files bring the main page back up. I suppose this is called the welcome screen.
