Linux download links are messed up

The download links for linux are messed up:
- the order should be reversed, with the most recent first and not viceversa
- the 64-bit links are not direct link to the files, but redirect to the sourceforge download page
- both the 1.8.3 and 1.8.2 64-bit links point to the same location, they both lead to download 1.8.3

The most recent version is currently on the top. XAMPP 1.8.2-2 was released on the same day but some minutes later than XAMPP 1.8.3-1.

The only link which is not correctly linked is the one for the x86_64 version of XAMPP 1.8.2-2

Can't reproduce that.

You're right, the 1.8.3 link is a direct download.

Regarding release dates, if you release multiple versions almost at the same time within minutes, I guess the relevant thing in defining "latest" is version numbering.
Version 1.8.3 has (among other things, I guess) a later version of PHP (or did PHP also release 5.4 the same day as 5.5 a few minutes later?)

Unless 1.8.3 is beta or unstable or something, in which case it should be indicated.

The most "current" (in the obvious sense) and most recommended (to those who don't have specific reason to choose another) should be at the top.

Well, i would recommend to use XAMPP 1.8.2-2 instead of XAMPP 1.8.3-1 for multiple reasons. So from my point of view the sorting is fine.
At the end this sorting is the most unimportant question ever. All current XAMPP versions can be find on that page with all version information.
