Virtualhosts once again

4 domains and would like to set them up as virtualhosts. The problem is that when I try to connect to any of sites the documentroot is simply ignored so I'm taken to the default document root. Would really appreciate any help:)
I'm connected to the net with cable modem and I have a static IP address, I'm using a rooter(SMC Barricade).
