Apache Friends Support Forum

i have installed Apache, PHp, My SQL and the XAMP server is running fine. Now if i am entering http://ipaddress in any internet Browser, it should display the index.html page (which was uploaded in the respective web directory (//opt/lampp/htdocs/)) but it is not happening. Can anyone help me out with solution.
