Hi! Is it possible by chance that the site and MySQL database would be sync'd in Dropbox using XAMPP but it would be accessed in Windows and Linux? I don't plan to use it as a server but only for website development. My main OS at home is Linux Mint 13 / Linux Mint Debian while my workstation at the office is Windows XP. I'm not sure how to make it that the site I'm working on can be done in cross platform.

I have google'd for days now but still can't find a solution with my current situation.

Kindly please help.

Why not just 'connect' from the office?

Believe it or not, my workstation has no internet and I provide my own internet. I only bring my only internet at home and everywhere - a mobile WiFi. So what you are suggesting is really not possible.

I have no idea if this will work on a Linux/Windows situation, but you could always give it a try:
