Hello everyone ,
How can I find the correct info, for installing SMF, to my localhost, IE: Server name, user, and passwords, ( I have none set for any of the users), and also How do I find out what the correct path is, for the ftp server ?, if more details are needed, please let me know what more is needed, I am using linux mint 10, xampp for linux 1.7.7,...and am trying to install SMF 2.02, to my local host,..on my computer,...

Below is the info the installer requests, but I don't know how to get the correct info.

Server: Port:
The address (often localhost) and port for your FTP server.
Username:
The username to login with. This will not be saved anywhere.
Password:
The password to login with. This will not be saved anywhere.
Install Path:
This is the relative path you use in your FTP client (more help).
