Apache Friends Support Forum

I set up XAMPP on my rig running Ubuntu 11.10. I changed the source code for the simple video player app to http://ipaddress/movies/movie.mp4 When I load up the app the loading bar fills up but it never starts playing. I have not changed any of the settings. Is there some setting that I need to change to get this to work?
