Database Connection failed in different version of XAMPP

Hello All

I have developed a database using XAMPP for Windows Ver 1.7.3 Windows 5.1 Build 2600 Platform 2 Service Pack 3.

I am trying to host it over internet and my ISP is having different version of the environment and thats why i am not able to host the database. While performing the search it is giving only blank page without any error message

I wanted to know whether this problem is related to
1. Version of XAMPP i have used
2. The same problem is comming with Ubuntu (Linux Version too)
3. What could be the possible error
4. Please suggest necessory measures to remove this problem
