Why there is no "Safe plain password in text file?” option in XAMPP for GNU-Linux?

Sometime lazy-man’s-installation attitude is needed eventhough in GNU-Linux. There are lot of scenario when forgoten XAMPP password create an headache, especially for new GNU-Linux user. When I still use windows, I install XAMPP in a lot of computer (all belong to my coworker) just to having fun. It will give an headache for me if I must remember all the password in each computer.

Now in GNU -Linux, my solution is very lowtech, use same password, write the password manually, using papper and pencil, than stick it in my table.

(PS: I love to promote XAMPP and GNU-Linux in my work environment, expecially the combination of XAMPP and CMS. It's like saying to ordinary people, "look you can have a website right at your workstation. It's very easy and fun too")
