Error 310: Too many redirects

I've been using XAMPP on Ubuntu for a while now. It worked fine until a few days ago.
When I now try to go on http://localhost where usually gets me to http://localhost/xampp/, it now
shows me this on Chrome:
How could I fix this ?

The web page at https://localhost/xampp/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.
