where should I set include_path? isn't it supposedly php.ini

Postby an5asis » 09. February 2011 22:48

Hi everyone,

I installed xampp 1.7.4 on my machine.

And I am having a trouble to configure my include_path for php.

I thought it's /opt/lampp/etc/php.ini

However, it keep showing me :
include_path = .:/opt/lampp/lib/php

which does not match with /opt/lampp/etc/php.ini

Does anyone have an idea of this?

Thanks.

I see ini_set function in pecl.

========================================================================
/opt/lampp/bin/pecl: if test "/opt/lampp/lib/php" = '@'php_dir'@'; then
/opt/lampp/bin/pecl: INCDIR="/opt/lampp/lib/php"
/opt/lampp/bin/pecl: INCARG="-d include_path=/opt/lampp/lib/php"

/opt/lampp/lib/php/peclcmd.php:if ('/opt/lampp/lib/php' != '@'.'include_path'.'@') {
/opt/lampp/lib/php/peclcmd.php: ini_set('include_path', '/opt/lampp/lib/php');
/opt/lampp/lib/php/pearcmd.php:if ('/opt/lampp/lib/php' != '@'.'include_path'.'@') {
/opt/lampp/lib/php/pearcmd.php: ini_set('include_path', '/opt/lampp/lib/php');
========================================================================

Why is it redefine include_path in pecl?

How can I get full-control for the include_path in the whole webapp environment?
