after upgrading 1.7.3a -> 1.7.4 all stored procedures gone

I upgraded Xampp for Linux from 1.7.3a to 1.7.4 and now all stored procedures and functions in all databases are gone.
What's wrong? I need to get them back.
Luckily I have a backup, but can I get it working any other way than to dump all databases, install 1.7.4 and restore all dumps?

Same thing here, but we don't have a backup!!! This is very sad my friends. Is there a way to get the procedures back? Probably after this we will abandon XAMPP!!!

So I'm not alone.
I wasn't successful with restoring 1.7.3a (not correctly set user rights in filesystem, could not get mysql to work), so I downloaded lastest production databases and restored dumps on my computer on version 1.7.4.
I've never had problem with upgrading XAMPP before 1.7.3a, this is the first time something went wrong.
