access to PHPmyAdmin Error

#2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured)
I am using centOs 5.5. and Lampp the last version 1.73a.
everything was fine till, I went to security tab and I secured my webserver!then I went to phpmyadmin.I could log in to phpmyadmin,but there was No Priviledge to create database and so on..
after that I checked that mySQL is deactivated. then I deleted lampp directory and installed again.(to back to fresh lampp version) but it was an stupid action cuz the configuration was there.
after that mysql was deactivated till I rebooted the vps.
now,mysql is Green(activated) but I cant access PhpMyadmin.
Is there any advice for me ?
If there is no option, I want to delete lampp and all my configuration, and install again.(of course this time without security!)
